Hi All, Welcome to another edition of Shack Chat. Scuba Shack Ezine.
Last weekend was a mixed bag for diving. Satuarday saw dive club members treated to an awesome crystal clear flat as a tac dive at Skillion Cave with fishlife everywhere. Jim expertly led our divers in an through the cave, some of these divers had never done this dive before and now place it on there favourites list. Others made their way to Flat Rock at Norah Head for an equally brillian experience, fabulous swim throughs, abundance of fishlife and calm conditions.
The class also experienced wonderful but cold conditions by the afternoon but by Sunday they were seasoned and a great time was had by all on course!
Sundays dive was sheduled to be at Cabbage Tree, but the divers once again went to Skillion Cave in a hope to experience what they had the day before. Unfortunatley the viz was not quite as good but a good dive was had all in all. On the other hand… those divers who did head to Cabbage Tree for the day said it was one of the best dives they had had at that site with brilliant Viz, calm conditions and fishlife everywhere.
Don’t forget the boat is running this weekend from Norah Head on Saturday and Sunday at Terrigal Haven , We do have some spots available so please phone the shop to book!
