Well was'nt it a windy old weekend! lucky the wind was blowing in just the right direction to flatten the seas! and a great weekend of diving was had by all!
This coming weekend we are mixing things up a bit and this saurdays club dives are really special!! ! Curious ?? Well ....after such stunning shore dives on the last Nelson Bay trip, with the highlights being the drift dive from Fly point to the Mariner and the night dive at Fly point we thought that it would be a great option for all those who missed out to join in these dive delights !!!! We will run the drift at 5.00pm from Fly point to the Mariner and then a night dive from Fly point at 7.30pm ! These dives are nice and easy so even night and drift newbies are more than welcome! Try something different, you will love it! For those of you who are really keen, join Phil... he has booked on the morning double boat dive to looking glass and The shark gutters!!! Doing a repeat of our Nelson bay dive marathon and making it a 4 dive day!! Legend !!!
Sunday's dive is at Swansea Bridge, meet at 9.00am at the shop with the aim to be in the water by 11.00am....for those of you that were on Gregs night dive on wednesday night.....I guarantee to get the tides right...yes there is a story..hehe...the guys miscalculated the tide and Greg (AKA Dipsy Diver ) mistook the morning tide time for a PM time...they were in the water 30 minute too early! I hear some of them needed some excersise anyway !! hahaha ! In Greg's defense...it was all Seans fault, he noticed that greg had pointed out the AM time but assumed that Greg was aware of this so said NOTHING!! (Phew ..found you a scape goat Greg :-) )
We have an awesome club night planned for 13th of October at The Beachie' ! Award winning and well known photographer and Cave Diver 'Neil Vincent will be our guest speaker. Neil will be be talking about his cave diving experiences and also we will be lucky enough to be shown his fantastic dive photos from his latest trip to Mexico! This is a night that you do not want to miss as you will be inspired ! Neil is also a wealth of info if you are after some photography tips:-)
We also are really keen for you to submit you photos to us for photo of the week. So get clicking peoples!
